abarnosky A really nice snow tire for road style bikes that can accept wider tires. The traction is great, it can roll over ice and snow no problem as long as you don't stand up to pedal (the rear wheel slips). They are heavy, but any studded tire is, especially with all the rotating weight of the studs. Expect handling to feel very strange after you put these on, it takes some getting used to. It is harder to lean into turns, its best to turn at the handlebars. But for snow and ice, there is nothing better than studded tires. The Nokians have more studs and will probably last longer, but this is a very good cheaper alternative.
