The Small Block 8 Sport is a budget friendly version of the Kenda Small Block 8 Pro mountain bike tire. The Small Block 8 Sport uses the same DTC (Dual Tread Compound) rubber compounds as the Pro version but trades in the lighter folding bead and tubeless ready casing for a steel bead and standard casing.
The Kenda Small Block 8 Sport is not designed to be used in tubeless applications. The use of tire sealants such as Stan's No Tubes will void the warranty on non-SCT tires.
The Small Block 8 features rows of 8 tightly spaced knobs with a shape similar to the Kenda Nevegal tire. The Kenda Small Block 8 Sport is ideally suited for bikes that see a mix of pavement and hard packed dirt trails.

There’s a lot to be said for a bike tire that can be easily installed. Some of the modern tires require a real wrestling match. Even if I can finally wrestle a difficult tire on in my workshop, what would I do if I need to change a flat out in the middle of nowhere ?
A perfect tire for most conditions in Michigan.
