Eagle Claw II Brake Pad, Smooth Post - Red

This is my second set of Kool-Stop brake pads. My first set was the dual compound version, which I really like. I needed this style for my cantilevers, which require a post and not a threaded shaft like my v-brakes. These have great stopping power (wet or dry) without grabbing and are very quiet. You need to adjust them properly when installing them so they have a slight toe-in to the rim, plus the end has a mud scrape (slight raised end) which makes the angle set-up much easier. With a little trial and error you'll get them to where you want them and like me prefer Kool-Stop brake pads.
