Love the Lizard Skins leather/carbon protectors. I had the little pads for cable area on my gravel bike's headtube and this was the logical choice to protect against further paint chipping from offroading under the chain. These are incredibly adhesive, can even be removed/repositioned if needed (worked for this one) and look sharp. I'm sold for life on these.
