I've been riding platform pedals with classic toe clips and straps for 40 years. I've ridden many different pedals, and now these are my go-to. They are solid and smooth - excellent bearings and strong.

Solid platform pedal modeled after the old French Lyotard #23's. Hard to go wrong with these if you're looking for a touring pedal. They're probably too heavy for general road use.
