The Maxxis Ardent Race bridges the gap between an XC and trail tire, with a tread that rolls fast and can still handle demanding trail conditions. The Ardent Race's ramped center knobs roll fast on hardpacked terrain and provide excellent braking traction while the large block side knobs are stepped and siped to provide excellent cornering traction in loose conditions. This version of the Maxxis Ardent Race features their EXO puncture protection, 3C triple compound rubber with a firm base layer topped with 2 progressively softer top layers.
