The Maxxis Grifter Tire - 29 x 2.5 is not compatible with tubeless applications and using the Maxxis Grifter Tire tubeless will void the warranty.

50mm wide rims might be pushing it, will they fit on the rim? most likely however the tread and sidewall will be really flattened out and will not perform as well as intended.

The Maxxis Grifter 29x2.5" will work on rims up to about 35mm wide internally (usually around 40mm external).
