A GuestI had specialized comp tires on my bike before. I wanted a tire that had little rolling resistance, but was wide, so if i go off road I don't have to worry about cutting in the dirt and having to walk in places. These tires do great off or on road. They are a little heavy and I you do feel it a little, but the deceleration is minimal in comparison to my specialized comp tire. They are a little taller, so I recalibrate my odometer to see a true difference and not just a mathematical one. Over a 20 mile trip i increased my average speed 4 mph.
As far as Bullet proof, I have no idea yet, but they appear and feel strong. I also have the thick inner tubes.

aft86I commute everyday 20miles (10 each way) and these things are greatttt! Low rolling resistance, incredibly quiet, and soft. A bit heavy so you lose acceleration but nothing crazy, you get used to it. Running them at 60 psi with 2.25 tube with no problems. Some people have problems getting them on or off, but I haven't had a problem. They go one without any levers, bare hands. I get compliments all the time on how awesome they look, which is a win & lose, makes my bike more attractive to would be thieves.
