Originally designed with input from Dave Mirra, the tread of the Maxxis M-Tread BMX Tire encircles both sidewalls from rim edge to rim edge, protecting the tire casing from premature wear and reducing the chances of pinch flats. This allows longer tire life for street and ramp riders that grind coping, rails, curbs, etc. The side tread also benefits high angle cornering and flatland maneuvers.
