abicycledoc4uBought this cassette because I wasn't sure what cogs I wanted on my vintage Paganini Mistral build. I had a 7spd but wanted more gears. The freehub was a Shimano and I knew a 9spd would fit. Miche 10spd cogs & spacers will fit on the hub if you stick to 9 cogs. The set is very customizable but don't forget, the deraillers, shifters & front chainwheels must be compatible & you must use a good 10spd chain. It shifts like butter!

kipertoBought this because I needed a cheap cassette on my second set of wheels for a cross/commuter setup. After three weeks of adjustments I cannot get it to shift nearly as smooth as a Shimano 105 5600 setup. In retrospect, that is what I should have gone with. I give it two stars because of the flexibility it offers with the individual sprockets.

A GuestI have found the Miche to be a durable, relatively inexpensive cassette. If a person changes his chain upon installing a new miche cassette, it should shift fine. The Miche is not as smooth a shifter as a Shimano cassette, because the cogs have standard traditional tooth profiles, but the Miche, for the same reason, will last longer. Yet another trade-off to consider in life.
