I want to convert my LHT from road to mtn gearing. The bar end shifters presently installed wont work with that conversion on the front derailleur so I will be switching that out. I have been considering down tube shifters as well; I thought it would be nice to get rid of some of the handlebar cable clutter .Any suggestions, and will these work with a mtn derailleur up front?
