The Back-Rollers use Ortlieb's QL1 mounting system, which is easy to use without sacrificing strength and stability: Simply lift and release the bag handle to adjust the mount closures securely around your rear rack. Using an accessory shoulder strap (not included), Back-Rollers can be carried easily both on and off the bike, coming along with you both outside on your ride and indoors. Concerned about rear rack compatibility? Back Rollers have two adjustment points for customizing a secure fit: 1. At the hooks that mount on the top of the rack railing, reduction shims are included so that 16mm, 11mm, and 8mm size rails may be accommodated; 2. At the lower rail of your front rack, the Back Rollers can be affixed by laterally adjusting the sliding hook found at the bottom of the bag.
