Replaced Pasela Panaracer 27X 1 1/4 Tour guards with these and the difference is night and day. Seemingly much faster. This bike (1981 Trek 613) just did not like the wider heavier TourGuard tires.
And the price just made everything even better.
Difficult to find 1" 27 tires.

They are 27 x 1 inch. I measured them against my 27 x 3/4 inch Wolber 20 tires but, they don't compare in any respects to my 30 year old Wolbers.
They take ample pressure (115 psi) and run quite smoothly. But they're big and cluncky by comparison. Somewhat more road resistance. And of course, heavier. I ride a mid 1970's Zeus Road Bike and only wish there were actually something out there comparable to those Wolbers. Since to my knowledge, there isn't, I've had to settle for these.
