Finally broke down and bought one to see why - it seems - they are in every mechanic's hand. Now I have a full set. Much more comfortable than 'L' wrenches, and easier to find the right size. Makes for a big boost in productivity!

Just a solid tool by the guys at Park Tools. This is something every home mechanic should have sitting around. I'm sure everyone has some sort of allen key set but for most purposes other than a hex crank bolt, you are going to be using 4,5,6mm which is exactly what this tri-hex wrench is for. Each hex wrench is color coded and number so you pick the right one everytime and aren't fumbling around. Great tool at a reasonable price.
