I was a rag and tooth brush guy until I went ahead and bought one of these. For cleaning areas like the space between your teeth (on your bike cassette that is) this thing really makes a difference. It is very thin and the bristles are rigid enough to do push your degreaser down to the hard to reach areas and help to remove the old gunk.
I used one of these on a salvage bike I had. It was an old Cannondale with a Shimano cassette that was about as dirty/gritty as they get. With some good degreaser, a rag and this tool, that cassette actually shines.
The next time you are ordering something, add this to your order. I think it is worth the cost to ship it by itself, but if it's part of an order it is well worth it.
