Once you try on this apron, there's no going back to standard aprons. The
SA-3 is made from heavy 10 oz. cotton canvas and has two rows of bar tack reinforced pockets for stashing pens, parts, tools, etc. The special crossback design removes pressure from the neck for all day comfort. A nylon quick release makes the apron easy to adjust and take off. A full 35" in length, the bottom 7" of the apron can be snapped up for a custom height fit. An embroidered Park Tool logo makes the apron as good looking (even when it''s dirty) as it is functional.
The SA-3 has three lower pockets. Each lower pocket is 18.5cm wide and 19cm deep (7.25" x 7.5"). There are 4 upper pockets, each 11cm deep. From right to left, the width is: 3cm, 3cm, 6.5cm, 7cm. The upper pockets are on a flap the may be unbutton to allow it to swing when the user bends over to keep items in the pockets.

A GuestGreat shop apron. I like it much better than the ones that just loop around your neck. After you get a couple of tools in it, the weight is across your shoulders, not your neck. Very comfortable.

A GuestThis is a high quality shop apron. I'll use this at home for wrenching on bikes, outside washing bikes, or for the 20min before a group ride of unloading cars, pumping/changing tires, last second shifter adjustments, etc. This is a must have if you don't like to have a set of sacrificial painter's clothes. At first I thought the pockets were silly, but they've proved invaluable, as does the adjustable length. I'll run the full length for more leg coverage when washing bikes. I have a similar Rapha apron that I was gifted, which is made from lighter weight materials and not as functional as there's less pockets, plus it's much, much shorter. The Rapha apron has been reduced to BBQ duty.

osteoAwesome, no more wiping my hands on my pant legs, plenty of pockets. I like the foldable length, nice touch.

A GuestLike the other guy said, the straps on this one are nice and they distribute load well when you've managed to stuff every tool you own into the various large and numerous pockets. My only criticism, and it's a very mild one, is that it's kinda short for tall people; I'd love a 42" apron. But it keeps the grease off you and holds your tools, and for that I say this is a nice thing to have around.

A GuestWhile this apron serves it's purpose very well, there are a couple items I would change. The straps are a bit awkward to adjust and secure but, once you have it they are indeed much more comfortable than the standard loop over the neck. The large rubber logo proves to be unnecessary weight and reduces flexibility of the material. I would much rather prefer a stitched logo...I will be removing this the next time I use it. Other than those two very minor issues, I am extremely happy with this apron and foresee many years of use.

A GuestThis is a great work apron for any messy project. I love the straps since they don't hang around the neck and this seems to be the only one out there designed this way. Great job!
