Bought the gauge to check dish after failing to make my own out of stuff I had around the house. Works really well. The only problem I have is that it is flexible, so you can't put any weight on the tool when you are measuring with it. Putting a little weight on it would only put your dish off by a few mm, but if you were trying you could probably flex it almost an inch.
