The Paul Components Motolite is such a proven design that has been around for years, and is here to stay. Featuring a sealed pivot mechanism with one of the best track records in the industry, the Motolite's have a super smooth action and stay that way. The square springs are easy to adjust and offer a pleasantly snappy return.
The Motolite has a unique quick release that is easy to use and reversible arms so you can run the cable on either left or right side of the brake. You''ll notice the most unique feature of these brakes though is the polished collar that fits around the arms allowing micro adjustments for height and toe-in.

asked by: a guest Hi, I am converting 406 TO 451MM. The wheel fits, but the brakes - too long. Help.
A.
anwered by: canteau You might be able to get the MotoLite brakes to work by adjusting them to closer to the top of the arm, but you will loose some stopping power. To maintain full stopping power it would be best to use the Paul MotoLite brakes in conjunction with the ProMax brake post extenders that move the brake mounting points up by 16mm, making the adjustment of the brake pads on the MotoLites 6.5mm vs 22.5mm.
HATE adjustment. HARD to set up "correctly". Unsure if this has to do w/ wider rims (Rhyno Lite XL - 24") or not but HARD even for an experienced brake mechanic. Newer versions of other brands easier to adjust & MUCH LESS expensive!
Apparently, many MTB ers are going back to rim brakes. They will not be disappointed with these! Although the setup is somewhat difficult, the performance is worth the trouble.
They will fit narrower brake posts than the
MAGURA HS 33's can fit. The design is simple
and robust; there is little to go wrong. The
Kool Stop pads are a little tricky to fit in but
once done, you're in great shape. You will
know your washer/spacer configuration for next time.
