I got these cutters after reading mixed reviews of the Park version. I have only used them for two bikes so far but they work great. They cut the Kevlar reinforced Jagwire brake housing quite well and will cut square if I can get them lined up square. The plastic liner was not crushed so I didn't have to prick it open again. They didn't do as great on regular spiral wound housing but I have always had to true that up on my grinder. I hope they hold up OK, the price is pretty good and will be even better if I'm still happy a year from now.
This thing is perfect. I did some research, and this was like $30 less than the ParkTools product. I heard good feedback on the tool and have had great experiences with every Pedro's product I've used, and this was no different.
Perfect cuts from the get-go -- derailleur housing, brake cables, whatever. I'm sold on it.
Summed up: You can have this tool back only if you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.
Yes, I would recomend this to a friend.

This cutter works well, but I wish Pedro's had added a crimper like the other cutters all seem to have. -1 star for that obvious oversight. (And -1 star to me for not noticing before I ordered it.)
Works super well and durable, comfortable and cuts all housings cleanly, including aramid reinforced. Would be even better with a crimping tool, but otherwise the best housing cutter I have used. Can't imagine better results short of an angle grinder.
