I have been quoted as saying "Tenacious Oil is the duct tape of bike lubes." Meaning it does everything.
I have used it to repair small o-ring air leaks on suspension forks, repair rusted freewheels and free hub bodies that no longer engage because of rust and lack of maintenance, to provide protection against the road salt on bike chains used for with riding and have even heard of people in Alaska using it as bearing lube during the really cold months.
I would not recommend this to be used as a chain lube in dry and dusty conditions as it has a wet finish.
Summed up: Phil Wood Tenacious Oil's versatility makes it a must for anybody serious about doing bicycle repair.
Yes, I would recomend this to a friend.

Phil Wood lubes have a good rep for a reason! The people who use them, love and rave about them! The people who don't like them.... have incorrect opinions!
