anwered by: canteau Phil Wood grease should be safe for most carbon fiber products, but all carbon products aren't the same so it is best to check with the manufacturer as to which products are safe to use with them.

Pretty amazing stuff. I was using a leftover tube of general purpose bearing grease, but at higher speeds it felt 'wierd'. This stuff is gooey enough to hold the bearings during assembly but makes rolling along feel like the bearings are coated with butter.
Summed up: Buy it, try it, understand what people have been raving about!
Yes, I would recomend this to a friend.

Phil Wood grease has been around forever, and it works and lasts. Good stuff. I just wish the tube screw cap was the standard size for mini grease gun applicators (it's a small cap instead of the larger size).
I first started using Phil Wood grease as a teenager, nearly four decades ago. (OK, now I've given away my age, which a lady isn't supposed to do! ;-)) I haven't seen anything better since then.
Sure, Campy's grease was supposed to have healing powers that could only be obtained on a trip to the Vatican. (Or was it Lourdes? Or Fatima?) But it doesn't last nearly as long--or resist the elements--the way Phil Wood grease does.
I've used this grease on every sort of bicycle application imaginable. I've even put a thin coating of it on single-speed chains I've used in the winter on my "beater".

Bought this based on the reviews on this site and other mtb forums. Gave it 4 stars because I have no prior experience with it. The tube container is very convenient though since I work on my own bike and my brothers I don't have much room to work with. Thanks TreeFort!
I like the grease. It doesn't seem to last as long as I would like for the price, but I'm satisfied.
I like the easy to use small tube. I can keep it with my bike tools.
I bought a second one when the first was used up.
I've used various greases, waterproof or not. This one is the most waterproof I've used, and it has a nice consistency for bicycles. The stuff for cars or machinery always seems too thick to apply easily, in my opinion. I love this kind.
