This quill adapter is designed to adapt a 1-1/8" threaded fork to a 1-1/8" threadless stem.
If you have a 1" threaded fork, you will most likely need the 22.2mm (7/8") quill adapter.

I ordered this to convert from a threaded to threadless stem. It would have worked well except it is at least 2inches too short.
It doesn't make sense to make a quill type adapter this short. One of the nice things about a quill stem is the ability to raise or lower the stem. This adapter is too short to be able to raise it more than about 5mm.
