It really depends on your bike. This rim will handle tire widths down to 700x32c and up to tires as large as 29 x 2.25 ( which is the same as 700x57c).
Tires listed as 28" are really either 29er or 700c, from countries in central Europe such as Germany. There is no size difference, just the way it is labeled.

The wheel does not have a weight limit, however it will completely depend on what type of riding that you do. The wheel has 36 spokes, the rim is double walled and has eyelets... So it is definitely amongst the stronger wheels out there.

4,500 miles and not a wobble or a broken spoke on this wheel. I weigh 250, give or take, and I have snapped dozens of spokes and ruined a few wheels in my day. I am so glad I finally bought a wheel that will take my abuse without complaint.Buy it. You'll be glad you did
