Crank Boot 2-Pack for Aluminum Cranks

Trick to get them to fit: Use a zip tie or string to pull the boots on while installing the pedal! Perhaps all of the fancier cranks out there are slightly shorter and slimmer at the bottom of the crank, but the shimano deore factorcy cranks fit these nicely, but they covered a part of the hole so that when screwing them in there was not room to get the pedal screwed down tight... what I did was took a zip tie (any other strong piece of string would also work) to pull up and out -- as in pulling the boot further onto the crank and also out away from where the pedal screws on... and with that effort they go on nicely... once screwed down the pedal has room, no problems.

Used these on a new pair of Race Face cranks and they fit perfectly. Already they have taken bumps and protected my pricier cranks arms on their maiden voyage. Certainly worth the few extra bucks.

Great product to protect cranks from rock, roots, boulders, etc. Makes my beat up cranks look new!
