Nice concept and it does help some but not as much as tubeless tires.

Nice addition to my gravel bike. Adds much need shock absorption up front. Very nice that there is adjustability with an assortment of elastomers. Control of the bike/steering/handling is not affected at all. Seems well made, but time and many miles will tell.

After decades of road and mountain bike riding and racing, my hands have a tendency to go numb. Since I started gravel biking, I'm shaking out my hands after only a half an hour. I've had bike fittings at two different shops, with no relief, I saw a review of this stem. The price was less than I'd already spent on fittings, so I decided to give it a try. The order arrived promptly, the instructions were easy to understand, and installation was fast. On the initial ride, I wasn't impressed...I didn't notice much difference. After a short hour-long ride, on the way home I noticed that I hadn't had to shake out either of my hands! The next ride was two-hours long, with the same result! No numbness!!
