Ritchey Pro Stems are constructed of 3D-Net forged 6060-T6 aluminum and a 4-bolt faceplate that wraps 180 degrees around the bar to reduce stress.
Weights in at 160 grams.
Ritchey is in the process of updating the graphics of these stems, but older stock and newer stock share the same part numbers. This stem may ship with a black clamp or a silver clamp. We unfortunately have no control of which color will ship.

Ritchey is in the process of moving from the larger logo and silver clamp to the small logo and black clamp. Both versions share the same part number/UPC so we are unable to guarantee which color will be shipping until all of the silver clamp models have sold through.

Nice tool to have in your arsenal! High quality, and a good variety of lengths - the 60 mm was just what I needed to fit my wife's small bike frame for my even smaller wife.

Purchased this stem to accommodate my weak lower back having problems with drop bars. Problem solved due to the stem both slightly raising and bringing the bars towards me for a more erect riding position. I would highly recommend this stem for anyone with lower back problems or riders that prefer drop bars but don't care for lower riding positions.

I initially had a hard time switching to a road bike and so this helps in the transition. Lets me ride a little higher and that's also nice for commuting. I can also hang out in the drops more without so much pressure on my perineum. I really like the drop position with the bar higher because I get less wind drag and the drops offer some shock absorption. It does seem to throw off the handling geometry some.

The stem is stylish, well made, and light. Installation is straight forward. The only change I made was to remove one 5mm spacer ring from the steering tube. The price points were good considering the quality of this component.
