This is for the Rock N Roll Extreme, blue/purple lube. There is also a highly touted Rock N Roll Gold yellow lube, and another one but I forget what type/color it is. I cleaned my chain, put a whole bunch of Rock N Roll on, spun my chain backwards for ten seconds or so, then wiped off the excess until the chain was dry. Then I rode around and my chain felt like butter with smooth shifting and no dirt buildup in the dusty/sandy trails here in Pacific Grove, CA. I got home, wiped the small bit of residue off, and I have a clean chain that I lube every 70-100 miles. Stayed on in the rain pretty good, but it only lasts about 20-50 miles in the rain, depending on how hard it rains. In moderate steady rain it last about 30 miles, but for some reason the chain still doesn't squeak. This stuff is amazing. It's not an oil, it's not a wax, it's both! I haven't had to clean my chain since that initial cleaning because RNR Extreme does that for me each time I lube. Just put it on, and you're ready to Rock N Roll.
Summed up: This stuff is really awesome. It has exotic lubrication properties. It's great for all seasons and all types of bikes.
Yes, I would recomend this to a friend.

Seems to work well. Great for cleaning chain and lubing at the same time. I have a new chain, lube seems to soak right on in nicely. The small bottle is nice touch. I also used it to lube the derailer, loosened right up.

Third year using R&R Extreme chain lube for CX racing w/very good results. Significantly less build-up of dirt/mud on the chain for reliable shifting and reduced chain wear. While not as long lasting as a wet chain lube, maintaining drive train was easier and done more often.

Perfect all-around lube. Formulated to protect in the wet environment I usually ride in, but not so much that it attracts excessive dirt. It's fairly easy to degrease and clean the chain, too.
