BackStage 2 Bike Hitch Rack

The Rocky Mounts Backstage 2 bike hitch rack is the first tray style rack on the market that is able to swing out of the way to give you total access to the back of your vehicle with bikes on or off the rack. The Backstage Rack swing away feature moves out of the way by 42" which should clear most cars, trucks, and SUVs.

When designing the Backstage, Rocky Mounts could have just designed a rack that swings out of the way and left it at that and it would be a great rack, but they didn't stop there. The bicycle trays on the Backstage are spaced at 12" apart and are adjustable by 3" to help you position your bikes so that the handlebar and seatpost clear each other. The wheel trays on the Backstage are compatible with wheels from 20-29" and will even fit fat bikes with tires up to 5" wide.

The Rocky Mounts Backstage Hitch Rack is compatible with 2" receivers only and features a locking anti-rattle hitch pin. Cable locks and lock cores are also included to help secure your bikes to the Backstage. If you have other Rocky Mounts locking racks, optional core packs are available so that you do not need a bunch of keys on your key ring.
