The SRAM Centerline Rotors will work with Shimano RS685 disc brakes, but you will not receive the full benefits of Shimano's IceTech cooling system which involves brake pads with cooling fins and a rotor that is made up of a thin alloy layer sandwiched between 2 stainless outer layers.

I got these rotors to replace Clark rotors that had variations in the rotor thickness caused pulsing during braking. .
These rotors are true in terms of thickness and solid quality. I only had to do minor adjustments with the caliper mounting to eliminate brake pad rubbing.
Also, these rotors are one of the lightest for a solid stainless 160mm rotor.
I would definitely purchase these again.
