The new
DUB from
SRAM is pitched as a "standard killer".
SRAM DUB Bottom Brackets include the most common bottom bracket designs for both threaded and non-threaded frames, put the bearings on the outside of the frame to promote increased stiffness and a wider stance.
SRAM took the best of
BB30 and
GXP, combined them, and eliminated the less than ideal aspects of those systems. The new systems engineers solution allows improved performance, cuts weight, and allows cranks to be used across multiple frames.
The
SRAM DUB Threaded 68/73mm Bottom Bracket features new
Gutter Seal Technology that helps improve sealing against the elements. The DUB Bottom Bracket is significantly lighter than
GXP and the new
DUB oversized spindle can work across multiple bottom bracket standards.
