SRAM's X-Sync Chainring along with their Type 2 rear derailleur are designed to work together to provide a virtually chain drop free 1x experience. 130mm BCD chainrings fit full geared double cranks and have an offset for a proper chainline when used with either a BB30 or GXP crank.
A single front chainring has an aero advantage over a double chainring crank by eliminating the front derailleur and the additional chainring.
SRAM''s X-Sync Chainring profile engages the chain earlier in the rotation than a traditional chainring and has a narrow-wide profile also is relieved to help shed mud from the chain rollers.
SRAM X-Sync Chainrings will work with 9/10/11-speed chains.
