The SRAM PC-870 Chain uses step riveted pins that unless it's a trail side emergency are not designed to be pressed back into the outer plate like you would do with an older chain.

This chain's really easy to install with SRAM's PowerLink connector, just don't forget to size the chain first. My last cheap chain broke on its first ride up a steep hill but this one has held up to the same trail multiple times now.
The lubricant it comes with is super sticky. Not really a concern, just an observation.
