SRAM's mid-level 10spd cassette borrows its semi spidered construction from the ultra light weight OG-1090 and XX cassettes but with less machining and a spider for the 3 largest cogs.
Lighter weight materials and an aluminum lockring make the PG-1070 45grams lighter than the PG-1050.
Lightweight, semi-spidered construction
Durable, blast/heat-treated steel cogs
PowerGlide tooth profiling designed for optimal shifting performance
asked by: mwithington Looking for a SRAM rear mech for a road bike that will work with the 11-36t version of the SRAM PG-1070
A.
anwered by: jackivey There are a ton of options that will work with a range like that. Look for any "medium cage" rear derailleur. Like a Sram X5 or GX model. Thanks!

Not so shimano compatible as I was lead to believe. I run ultegra and dura ace on my bikes. Thought I would try the 1070 cassette 12-27, 11-28, and 11-25. But unfortunately they just aren't as smooth shifting as the shimano cassettes on my shimano drive train. Will most likely ebay them and get shimano replacements. They were cheap though!
