The podium winning
SRAM RED crankset is now available in graphics to match the
RED eTap electronic drivetrain.
SRAM RED cranks use
ExoGram hollow carbon crank arms and spider for reduced weight, while staying ultra stiff.
SRAM RED GXP cranks are designed to work with frames that use threaded bottom bracket shells or press-fit 86mm bottom brackets. The GXP spindle has a 22/24mm taper and will not work with 24mm compatible outboard bearing bottom brackets.
RED Cranks with compact gearing use 110mm BCD chainrings and are not compatible with the full geared chainrings.
SRAM uses a hidden 5 bolt that is molded into the crank arm for chainring stiffness and to use less material than having a stand alone 5th spider arm. Mounted to the carbon spider are
SRAM's X-GlideR chainrings, that have a thicker construction and hard anodization for excellent wear and quick shifts. Advanced shift timing pins and ramps are optimized to be used with
SRAM''s Yaw front derailleurs.
Not sure if the
RED cranks will work with your drivetrain, SRAM''s compatibility chart is available
here.
- Hollow carbon arms and spider
- X-GlideR machined alloy chainrings
- Optimized for Yaw front derailleurs
- Updated eTap graphics
- 557g (172.5 BB30 Crank with 53/39t w/o BB)
RED is
SRAM''s top of the line road group and the crank is the stiffest and one of the lightest cranks
SRAM has produced to date. Now with graphics to match the
RED eTap group.
