A GuestThis chainring works great, but after a few hundred miles of hard trail riding in dirty/sandy conditions (keeping my gear shifted down into this chainring almost the entire time) I can notice a bit of "hook" forming on the teeth - not enough to cause chainsuck in dry conditions, but when the drivetrain gets a bit mucky, chainsuck becomes a major headache. For the last 2 years, I have bought one of these and installed it just before the Iceman Cometh Challenge, and didn't even have a problem with chainsuck during the "Mudman" of 2014. Prior to that, I would have chainsuck problems every year.
