Is brown the dark brown/leather looking one in the pictures? Tan is the lighter brown?

This is a very good quality bar tape. The feeling/grip is great. It even fit over my existing gel pads from my old bar tape. I already bought another one for replacement in the future.

I've always used Cinelli cork tape in the past but just switched to Salsa tape this spring. One thing that stands out about this bar tape over the Cinelli stuff I've used in the past is that the tape doesn't have a lot of sticky glue which I consider a plus because it doesn't leave behind all the residue behind when it comes time to retape. The tape is very comfortable and looks great on the bike. If I had to list a dislike it would have to be the chrome end plugs... not a fan of shiny things.

I have just found a new favorite tape. No sticky is amazing and its much thicker than other tapes. The red is a little bit on the pink side, but I don't care. It's awesome.

Now my favorite tape. Liked it when I demoed a Salsa Fargo. Now it's on my Surly Straggler and loving it. Went on easy and has the right amount of cushion. And its it has the those doll chile peppers.

Great tape at a great price. I love that the tape is not adhesive - it has great grip when installing onto the handlebars but without the mess of adhesive. Feels comfortable while riding and provides a thick cushion.

I love this tape, I use it on my CX and road bikes to soften the ride! It's also longer than a lot of other tapes I've used so I don't have to worry about it fitting!

Great bar tape, easy to apply and plenty thick but still plenty firm. It's not super squishy like a gel tape so to me it's a good balance for a tape. Have only ridden 100m or so but its holding up great so far.
