The frame utilizes 197mm rear spacing to accommodate up to 5" tires, and the 100mm threaded bottom bracket allows a wide range of crank (Q-factor) choices. Alternator 2.0 dropouts allowfor some of the shortest chainstay lengths available, easily supporting single speed or geared drivetrain options. The Mukluk can do it all.

- Aluminum frame includes two bottle mounts inside frame triangle and down tube mounts for a bottle, pump, repair kit, or other accessory
- Bearpaw fork features carbon fiber legs with an aluminum steerer tube and two sets of Three-Pack mounts
- Compatible with Salsa Alternator 190 Rear Rack using Salsa Rack-Lock or Post-Lock
- Designed with a low and rearward center of gravity for increased stability when navigating challenging terrain
- Full-length internal cable housing routing, internal dropper post routing, and 1x or 2x drivetrain compatible

WOW... this 2022 Salsa Mukluk is an absolute SCEAMING deal at $1999. In my opinion, the best bang for the buck in the high-quality fat bike world right now. The frame design is incredibly good looking and well thought out. I just got the bike yesterday, and already took it for a short ride. Despite the bike's considerable girth, it pedals VERY quickly along the trail.... far quicker than you would imagine for such a burly tired fat bike. All the components are well matched and of high quality as well. The Dillinger 5 skin wall tires look amazing on this bike!! Overall, I can't imagine a better deal on a fat bike for the money spent. Salsa makes some of the very best looking and performing fat bikes, in my opinion... and this 2022 Mukluk is no exception. The color is listed as "black".... however, it is actually more of a very dark charcoal metallic color, with pearlescent highlights, to my eye. FAR more appealing color in person, then in the stock photos. 5 flaming hot tamales for this awesome Salsa Mukluk!!
