The Saris Freedom Ex 2-Bike Hitch Rack is designed to carry a wide variety of bike shapes and sizes from kids bikes all the way up to fat bikes with 4" tires right out of the box. If you need to carry a fat bike with 5" tires, Saris does offer wider wheel trays here. 

Saris knows that the biggest struggle with a tray style hitch bike rack can be the weight, with some of them reaching weights of over 50lbs. Through the use of lightweight materials, Saris is able to get the Freedom Ex Hitch Rack down to around 27lbs.
