Rocket Ron LiteSkin Tire, 27.5 x 2.8 with PaceStar Compound

Schwalbe brings the open u-block tread design Rocket Ron tire that has been a favorite of cross country and all mountain riders for years now in a size for 27.5plus bikes. At 680g the 27.5plus version of the Rocket Ron brings big tire volume at a weight that is much lighter than many of the other offerings on the market. Rocket Ron's Pacestar rubber compound uses a fast rolling base layer and center tread with grippier side knobs for control. 

For the casing of the Rocket Ron 27.5plus, Schwalbe uses their Liteskin with tubeless easy bead.  Liteskin tires do not offer the protection that is offered with the Snakeskin equipped tire but save on this tire over a 100g per tire (680g vs 785g) making them great for race day. 

At 2.8" the 27.5plus Rocket Ron is designed to be run on rims in the range 40-60mm wide.
