CX70 Cyclocross Cantilever Brake w/ Replaceable Shoes

After years of producing cantilever brakes that were designed for touring or mountain bike use, Shimano finally steps up to design a brake specifically for the growing market of cyclocrossers. The brake features Shimano's road-style cartridge pads for easy replacement as well as increased selection in pad types.

Loads of pad height and angle adjustment paired with independent spring tension adjustment in each arm make setup a cinch (an important consideration with cantis, as any mech will tell you). Semi-low profile arms offer plenty of heel clearance in the rear and make for excellent modulation and stopping power.
