It will not, Shimano used a different size axle on the Dura Ace 7800 series rear derailleur.
For short cage 7800 derailleurs Shimano part number Y5V598010 is needed.
For mid cage 7800 derailleurs Shimano part number Y5V598120 is needed.

Replaced B-Axle assembly on my 5 year old Ultegra 6700 R Derailleur with 9,000 miles. Shifts like new again. Delivered as advertised. Easy to install if you are mechanically inclined & have basic tools. All necessary parts included.
