A new benchmark in reliability, the Shimano Dura-Ace 9000 hubs have revised labyrinth seals for less drag and greater durability. A super hard "Super Finish" is applied to the cup and cone races for greater performance, and easy maintenance.
The Dura-Ace 9000 feature a hollow aluminum axle, super hard adjustable stainless steel bearings, and include a lightweight aluminum alloy quick release. An 11-speed titanium freehub body is compatible with new Shimano 11-speed cassettes, and 10-speed cassettes with the use of a spacer.
