danthesoundmanI've seen better, but it's nice and silent while coasting... It was worth the money and it was cheap. I hope it lasts a long time. Made in Japan. Shimano. Probably the best bet for the bargain shopper.

A GuestBest value at this price level. Smooth and quiet and sturdy so far.

A GuestThis one has sticky pawls and clunks under load. Probably nothing a few drops of oil or some warm weather won't cure.

malysi01This thing is silent which is a great deal when coasting, making your ride stealthy. I upgraded all of my freewheels from ACS to the Shimano due to the ACS freewheels making a "clacking" noise while you would spin the cranks. This Shimano is smooth, out of the low-mid range freewheels this is the best followed by the loud and obnoxious but rebuildable White Industries freewheels.

buddyj406Great freewheel for the price. It's nearly silent. Highly recommend replacing it in conjunction with your chain and chainring so they can wear together.
