Shimano OptiSlick 1.2mm shift cables are designed to work with Shimano's latest mountain and road bike groups. OptiSlick is an electronically applied coating to stainless cables that offers a smoother surface for reduced friction over bare stainless and better durability than a traditional Teflon coated cable that can get gummy.
