If you have a carbon wheel that has a carbon brake track, we suggest you use the brake pad compound suggested by the rim manufacturer. Most rim companies like Zipp, Enve, and Reynolds will make a Shimano Dura type pad cartridge that will work best with their rims. If you rim brand does not make pads, the carbon formulated Swiss Stop pads are about the best you can buy.
