Saint M820-SS1 10-Speed Short Cage Shadow Plus Rear Derailleur

The latest offering in Shimano's DH oriented line, the Shimano Saint M820 rear derailleur debuts with new chain control and silencing technologies, such as a new silent bump stopper and Shadow Plus chain control.
Because you only want to hear the wind rushing through your helmet, the Shadow Plus design features a stabilizer switch to reduce chain drop and slap, while a new urethane bump stop reduces noise.
Whether you take the lift, or like to work for your runs, Saint now has a Mode Converter allowing the derailleur to change between DH mode with a close gear ratio and 28T max low gear, and an AM mode optimized for a wider ratio up to a 36T low gear.
Keeping the M820 protected in the roughest descents is an improved skid plate that protects it in the event of an impact, and wider links to resist twisting and improve overall durability. Combined with a lower profile body design and bracket, the Saint stays out of the way of your frame and obstacles.
