Shimano doesn't assign a year to these parts, but this is the 9 speed version of the Tiagra shifters, the 10 speed version will have a model number of 4600. Thanks!

From everything we've experienced and researched it should work just fine. We'd recommend staying with a small or medium cage rear derailleur though.

Great transaction! I would buy from Tree Fort again, the staff is nice and attentive. I did the install myself not knowing much at all about shifters. If you're patient you can get it done. The shifters are great and are a nice upgrade from the standard Sora shifters that came on my Trek 1.2.
