SturmcrowI got the 12-30t set. I was able to dial this cassette in quickly with no problems. Sure, it's a bit heavy, but I ride for the exercise, so no problem. I'm not sure what to say about a cassette, other than that it works fine and makes the wheel go 'round. I did find that when shifting to a bigger diameter gear, it was best to push the lever a bit past the 'click' until the gear engages and then release it. I think that is a function of the large steps between gears to get the 12-30 tooth range.
It does come apart into 4 parts or more, but you can figure out how it goes on pretty easily. If puzzles are not your thing, don't let it come apart. It's all in order on a little plastic psuedohub in the box.

scottatoddBought this 12-30 to replace a 12-25 for use with a 36-46 cyclocross setup. Needed the extra gears for when loaded down or climbing steep hills. Works just as you would expect -- I've used 105 and Ultegra cassettes in the past and can't tell any difference. First I had a slight pause because it was Tiagra (try not to be a bike snob but I've only had 105 and up in the past), but it works great. Using with 105-5700 shifters. Might be a few grams heavier than the Ultegra 12-30 but does it really matter? Not to me. 100% happy with the cassette.
