Shimano Tourney TY501 crankset can be used as a replacement for city and hybrid bikes with a 28/38/48t gear range and 6/7/8-speed drivetrains. Shimano TY-501 crankset has alloy crank arms with riveted steel chainrings and a composite plastic pant guard. Compatible with JIS square taper bottom brackets, the TY-501 crankset requires a 122.5mm spindle, we recommend the Shimano UN26.

Yes, this would work just fine. The only thing you may otherwise need to replace is the bottom bracket, as the width of that is very dependent on being able to shift. If you already have your crank off, this crank needs a 122.5mm width spindle, give or take a mm. Some basic cranks use a 127.5 spindle, but you may be good already.
