What is the difference between this freehub body and the "6700-R" freehub body

The WH-6700-R Freehub body exclusively is used on the WH-6700-G-R Hub, normally printed somewhere on the hub shell, which I have only seen on the Straight Pull style Ultra Hubs.

The FH-6700 is far more common, printed one the shell, like normal. If you have traditional J-Bend Spokes on an Ultegra 6700 hub, this should be your direct replacement.

I did some checking on the exploded diagrams of the WH-6700 and the FH6700. This does fit the FH-6700 hub, however that is not the hub on the WH-6700 wheel set. The free hub you need for that is Shimano part number Y4FP98050 which we currently don't show as available. If you call us at 734.484.9999 we may be able to get one special ordered for you from Shimano directly. Thanks! Scott
